Operation Airbase
The move to a more central location in our community will dramatically reduce response times to the majority of our calls, and allow us to reach almost every patient in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight within 10 minutes of take-off.
By relocating our operating base near to Southampton Airport, we will be able to get to patients far quicker and be restocked, refuelled and ready to respond to the next emergency call – saving precious minutes that could be the difference between life and death and having a decent quality of life and not.
