Nicola moved to Hampshire from Somerset and joined the Ambulance Service in 2000 as an Ambulance Technician. She qualified as a paramedic in 2004, later studying Emergency Care Practice at Portsmouth University and graduating in 2009. Nicola began flying with us in 2010 and has worked in various roles, including Clinical Mentor, Team Leader and in Clinical Governance, and was an instrumental part of the team to develop and launch our Aftercare programme in 2023, and has been an Aftercare Manager since.
Nicola has represented the charity at various events, including the Great South Run and Dash in the Dark Southampton. In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors, walking and running with her dog who is a great training buddy.
