British Fighter Pilot Talk

Come along on Friday 7 February for an engaging and powerful talk from ACC Jim Nicolson about his uncle Flt Lt James Nicolson, who was the only Fighter Command Pilot in the second World War to be awarded the Victoria Cross. He received this for his gallantry in a dogfight in the skies over Southampton at the height of the Battle of Britain. His talk focuses on his uncle’s early war experiences and the extraordinary action which resulted in the award of the Victoria Cross.

All funds raised will go towards our Operation Airbase Appeal.
