Festive fundraising takes off across the region

Supporters from across the region have been raising vital funds for their Air Ambulance.

We are ready to respond to the most critically ill or injured patients across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, 365 days a year. But it’s the support from those in our community that makes this possible, meaning we can provide life-saving care to those most in need, even on Christmas Day.

With the festive season in full swing, supporters across our region have been showing their support.

Dazzling displays

From the Bannock Road Christmas Lights on the Isle of Wight, to the Ross Family Lights in New Milton and the Gudgeheath Lane Light Show in Fareham, supporters have been adorning their houses with eye-catching displays – all in aid of their local Air Ambulance.

Terrific Tractor Runs

The RMW Charity Tractor Run took to the streets of Petersfield on Saturday night (14 December) – with 54 tractors donning fantastic lights, tinsel and festive decorations. The popular tractor run, organised by Mark Rowden, has already raised more than £6,824 – almost enough to fund two emergency missions.

Keeping us responding through the festive period

The British Touring Car Chat, hosted by Kevin Whitewood, is holding a ‘12 days of Christmas‘ giveaway. Entry costs £5 to be entered into all 12 daily draws – with an array of motorsport prizes up for grabs. Kevin has already raised more than £5,600 – enough to fund a future life-saving mission.

Our IT partners, Silver Lining Convergence, will be hosting their annual Christmas Grotto – spreading festive cheer in a day filled with magic, festive surprises and the chance to meet Santa!

An elf and Santa sat down at a Christmas event.

As the festivities draw to a close, the Ringwood and District Round Table will be collecting and recycling your old Christmas trees on Saturday 5 January and Sunday 12 January in support of our life-saving service. Places are limited, so book now to secure your spot.

Thank you for keeping us flying and saving lives this festive season.
