Fundraising Code of Practice

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA) adheres to the very highest standards in governance, donor care and compliance guidelines. The charity will only work with partner organisations that adhere to these standards. The charity endeavours to deliver unparalleled levels of donor satisfaction, service and care.

HIOWAA is a member of the Institute of Fundraising, the Fundraising Regulator and The Lotteries Council and abides by the codes of practice requirements of each of these organisations.

As members of the Fundraising Regulator which is the independent regulator of charitable fundraising, we have agreed to abide by the gold standards laid down in the Fundraising Code of Practice. Please see link to the Fundraising Code of Practice here.

HIOWAA is licensed by the Gambling Commission. We take our duties and responsibility to the Gambling Commission seriously and abide by a strict set of moral and legal codes and conditions of practice. The charity is constantly reviewing its fundraising policy to ensure it meets the current legislative requirements, the Charity Commission’s guidance, the Institute of Fundraising Code of Practice and the expectations of its donors.
