Members of our Critical Care Team recently spent two days teaching undergraduate paramedic science students at the University of Portsmouth.
The student paramedics were put through their paces as they practised multiple life-saving skills. From assessing patients on scene to the management of major trauma – something our team are specialists in dealing with.
Michael Bradfield, our HEMS Paramedic Clinical Lead, said, “This was a great opportunity for us to meet and work with student paramedics studying at the University of Portsmouth, all of whom already undertake ambulance service clinical placements in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
“It was a pleasure to make a contribution to their education and we look forward to future collaborative opportunities with the University of Portsmouth Paramedic Science team.”
