The Champion Group has raised thousands for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
Since first embarking on their life-saving fundraising mission in 2023, the Basingstoke based contractors have taken raising vital funds in their stride.
From charity golf days to abseiling the Spinnaker Tower, braving fire walks and tackling 100-mile bike rides, they have launched themselves into every challenge – raising more than £35,000 for our life-saving service.
A life-saving difference
These vital funds will not only allow us to deliver advanced pre-hospital care to the patients who need us most, but also help to provide the essential kit and equipment needed to reach the scene of an incident safely and quickly.
Thanks to the determination of The Champion Group, we could buy flight helmets and flight suits for 15 members of our crew – both vital pieces of kit for every mission we respond to by air.

“We have been extremely privileged to have worked with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance for the past two years – so much so that for the first time ever we chose to support this amazing charity for two years running. It has been an honour to have raised £35,674.73 for them.
“Not only have we raised much needed money for this incredible charity, but through our fundraising events, our staff and even our staff’s children, we have also raised much needed awareness to local people who were unaware of the life-saving and precious work that Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance does every single day.
“Over the past two years we have also built a strong friendship with Lucy and her team. They are all incredible and I know that our relationship with them will continue for many years to come.
“Thank you for your help and for educating us all on how we can all do small things in our day to day lives to help raise funds and awareness for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance – it has been an absolute pleasure.”
