The support from groups and clubs in our community is crucial. And the dedicated motorbike groups in our region always go above and beyond to keep us in the skies.
Shortly before one of their members urgently needed our medical care when she came off her bike in 2021, members from the New Forest Chapter of the Harley Owners Group nominated us as their charity of choice. They have since been raising money for our cause. And they’re not stopping there.
On Saturday 10 July members of the biker group toured our airbase before scouring the county on a scavenger hunt. Setting off from our airbase in Thruxton, the bikers took in key landmarks before meeting at the Southampton Harley Davidson shop for a July 4 celebration.
Our Support Engagement Officer, Natalie Russell, said:
