Last month your Air Ambulance charity responded to 176 emergency call-outs across the region.
We were called out to:
- 62 cardiac arrests
- 26 road traffic incidents
- 25 medical emergencies, such as seizures
- 14 falls from height
120 of our missions were in our aircraft and a combined total of 56 in our emergency response vehicles and our new Critical Care Paramedic Car, which came into service on the 1st September. Read more about it here.
We have now responded to a total of 1,454 emergency call-outs so far this year – an average of four missions per day.
Each mission we attend costs on average £3,320. And we need to raise £15,000 every day to ensure we can there for you.
We are only able to be there for those in need thanks to your generous donations. Your support allows us to give our patients the best chance of survival and recovery when the worst happens.
