Operation Airbase appeal reaches 1,000 donations

In a little over two weeks since the launch of Operation Airbase, we have received our 1,000th donation.

From businesses, clubs and groups to individual cheques and online donations, support from right across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight has been overwhelming.

A special mention goes to Eastleigh Town Council, who have not only thrown their support behind our plans for the move but fittingly gave us £1,000 as our 1,000th donation.

Since the launch, you have helped raise a staggering £180,000 for our Operation Airbase appeal alone.

Your support has blown us away – and will make an enormous difference to our patients for many years to come.

Thank you for helping to save lives in your region.

Why we need your help

Moving our Airbase to the centre of the community we serve, bringing us closer to the people who need us, will mean we can reduce response times for more than 70% of the missions we attend.

It will also put us within 10 minutes flying time to almost every patient in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Simply put, your donation will Save Time and Save Lives.

Every minute saved in reaching a patient could be the minute that saves their life.

Your generosity will help us convert and equip a site near Southampton Airport into a purpose-built hangar that will be the single biggest leap forward in our 17-year history.
