The UK’s experts in signs and graphics have thrown their support behind the life-saving charity by wrapping one of its emergency response vehicles in unmissable reflective livery and have pledged to do the same for future vehicles.
The charity says this act of generosity will mean a substantial amount in savings, meaning those funds can be put directly towards saving more lives in the region.
The team at the Chandlers Ford firm have also committed to undertake a number of fundraising initiatives to celebrate the partnership.
The charity’s cars are used to bring the hospital to the patient at times when the helicopter is offline due to poor weather, or act as an additional resource to the helicopter team on mass-casualty incidents. The vehicles carry the same equipment as the air ambulance, such as blood products, defibrillators, monitors that can record ECG’s, blood pressure, oxygen saturation and carbon dioxide levels.
The custom design wrap is essential in ensuring the crew and their equipment can get to the patient’s side as quickly and safely as possible.
Keith Wilson, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance Director of Income and Engagement, said:
