Record breaking crowd light up Dash in the Dark Isle of Wight

A huge thank you to the record breaking crowd at this year’s Dash in the Dark Isle of Wight.

As the sun began to set and the glow of neon paint filled the Island skies, 500 neon-clad walkers and runners gave us a night to remember at our annual 5km event.

So far, you have raised more than £17,000 – enough to cover the cost of five missions.

Keith Wilson, our Director of Income and Engagement, said:

“This is our third year of hosting Dash in the Dark on the Isle of Wight, and every year it gets bigger and better. We are incredibly grateful to the hundreds of people who ran and walked their way around our 5km course – many with dogs and buggies – and the crowds of people who came to support them.

“Every penny raised will give our next patient the best chance of survival and recovery.”

Around £200,000 has been raised since our first Dash in 2019 – enough to fund 57 life-saving missions.

Register for next year’s Dash in the Dark now – at a discounted rate until 31 December.
