Students from Brockenhurst College have pledged to raise vital funds for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
The team of Level 3 Business and Enterprise students have embarked on a fundraising mission for 2025 – hosting an array of events, including Brew for the Crew and a clothing sale, with a goal to raise £1,000 for our life-saving appeal: Operation Airbase.
Our mission to relocate our Airbase will bring us to the centre of our community – drastically improving our response times across the region, giving every patient we attend the best chance of survival and recovery.
But this move would not be possible without the incredible support of those in our community.
Emma Stileman, Supporter Engagement Officer at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, said:
“I am delighted to be working with Brockenhurst College to raise vital funds for our life-saving mission, Operation Airbase. Support from local schools and colleges has been extremely valuable and we are so grateful to the students for helping to keep us flying and saving lives. Thank you!”
Charlie Woodsford, Assistant Principal at Brockenhurst College, said:
“Fundraising for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance and the Operation Airbase appeal provides our students with a valuable opportunity to see the real-world impact of their event planning and social enterprise projects.”
“Not only are they developing their business skills, but also their understanding of the importance of supporting the community.”
Thank you to the students at Brockenhurst College for their incredible dedication to our vital service.
