Local contract cleaning provider raises more than £4,700 for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
Led by founder and director, Mark Tutty, Top Mops has shown remarkable enthusiasm since announcing its support in 2024, after witnessing the expertise of our Critical Care Team first-hand.
“The Air Ambulance team’s swift response on Boxing Day 2019, just before I lost my dad, was nothing short of amazing. Their efforts and dedication truly touched our hearts.” – Mark Tutty, Managing Director at Top Mops.
Victoria sponges to valiant sky dives
There has been no challenge too big, or too high, for this determined team. From hosting a Brew for the Crew, to swapping their miles for missions in our 100 Miles in May challenge, the team have helped to raise vital funds for “a cause that holds a special place in our heart”.
It’s only thanks to the support we receive from those in our community that we were able to be there for Mark’s family. And now, thanks to their incredible efforts, the Top Mops team have ensured we can be there for the next person who needs us most – raising more than £4,700 – enough to fund a future lifesaving mission.
Sarah Ford, BICSc Accredited Trainer and Licensed Assessor at Top Mops, said:
“Top Mops chose The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance as our Charity of the Year for 2024, inspired by the life-saving care they gave to our founder’s father in 2019.
“Their incredible work left a lasting impression, and when we asked our team to vote on a charity, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance was the clear choice. From April to September, our staff went above and beyond, raising over £4,700 through events like our 100 Miles in May challenge, Brew for the Crew coffee morning, and Loren Tutty’s incredible skydive.
“Seeing our team come together with such passion and commitment has been truly inspiring.”
“The enthusiasm, dedication, and teamwork shown by everyone has made it clear that this is more than just a one-year partnership. That’s why, by staff choice, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance will now be our ongoing charity of choice. We’re so proud to continue supporting this vital service and look forward to raising even more in the years to come.”
Natalie Russell, Supporter Engagement Officer at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, said:
“The Top Mops team have thrown themselves into fundraising with incredible energy, passion, and commitment. We are delighted that the team have chosen to continue their life-saving journey with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, and we look forward to our next collaboration.”
