Trusts and Foundations

It costs Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance £17,750 per day to remain operational and in the skies across the south. The support we receive from Charitable Trusts and Foundations throughout the UK makes a fundamental difference to our ability to continue saving lives.

Charitable Trusts and Foundations have been donating to Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance since the charity first began operations in 2007. Their amazing support has contributed towards;

  • Funding towards our night capable helicopter.
  • Providing regularly updated medical equipment.
  • Funding specific projects.
  • Ensuring our valued Volunteers have clean, safe, modern equipment.
  • Ensuring our HEMS crew and office staff have expert training.

If you believe that your Charitable Trust or Foundation could provide funding to help keep us flying and saving lives, please do not hesitate to get in touch us, either by emailing [email protected] or by calling 023 8074 3510 to discuss the ways in which we could work together. This may be a one-off pledge of support, a bi-annual donation or even a tranche of donations ranging over 3-5 years.

We would be delighted to welcome Trust Trustees to our Charity Office in Southampton or to invite you to our airbase at Thruxton Airfield, near Andover, to discuss potential plans for support in further detail and to convey the amazing work of our HEMS team. We are extremely proud of our achievements and would be thrilled to have you on-board as we proceed into our next phase of operations.
