A team of Walking Footballers have raised more than £600 for our life-saving service.
The supporters from Eastleigh Walking Football club have raised vital funds for their local Air Ambulance after one of their players was desperately in need of critical care.
Our Critical Care Team were called to walking footballer, Danny, after he was involved in a serious road traffic collision in October 2023. Thanks to to the care he received, almost a year on, Danny has now returned to the pitch – joining the restricted mobility group.
The football club raised £618 at a recent anniversary dinner marking 10 years of the club.
